APNIC invites you to attend APNIC 27 in Manila, Philippines from 23 to 27
February 2009.

APNIC meetings give your company a chance to build valuable skills and
make contacts with others in your field. The skills learnt at APNIC
meetings can be used to directly enhance the efficiency of your

APNIC 27, in conjunction with APRICOT 2009, has an excellent lineup of
workshops and tutorials taught by industry experts from across the Asia
Pacific.

The APNIC team will be hosting two tutorials during APNIC 27:

Understanding Botnets, Network Attacks, and Forensics

    Participants learn:
    
    - The practices used in modern network attacks and their impact
    - The detailed operation of botnets and their use in malicious
      network activity
    - Techniques of network forensics and how to identify and respond to
      attacks

Introduction to the Internet Routing Registry (IRR) 
—————————————————

    Participants learn:

    - How to keep track of routing policies between providers and
      customers
    - What route objects are and how to define routing policy using RPSL
      (Routing Policy Specification Language)
    - How to use RT Config to generate router configurations

Bangladesh Total Internet Users

Number of Bangladesh Total Internet Users is Unknown. Some believes that it has reached up to six million in year 2008. But the accurate number is not authenticated via any of statistics management organization. 

Mr. Sayeed Rahman reports on of his articles published on GroundReport.com that in 2008, total number of Internet user in Bangladesh has reach about 6 million. According to his reports, Bangladesh Internet service providers have over 1.0 million along with 30,000 of them use BTCL (Bangladesh Telephone Company Limited)’s Internet Service. 

However, The Internet Service Provider Association of Bangladesh doesn’t have any information or statistics on their homepage of website. When I am writing the article, ISPAB website has not officially updated scince Monday 23 June 2008!
